I will be doing a couple of DJ sets for a Golem Night at Rocken in Aalborg, May 08. Other DJs for the evening are Kaos Korrosion and Lærke Lømmel. My sets are from 10 PM to 11 PM, from midnight to 01 AM - together with Kaos Korrosion and Lærke Lømmel - and then again, alone, from 01 AM to 02 AM.

A week ago today we lost Claus Christiansen who had been the Klub Golem sound engineer from our very beginning and until the end of 2025. I have written a blog entry about him which of course you'll find in the Words Section of this site. I have also finished a live video of my song Postludium taken from our Klub Golem Halloween concert last year - the last concert of mine where Claus handled sound and stage lights. Danish music mag Gaffa has conducted an interview with yours truly about Danish radio and television largely ignoring anything but the most mainstream of artists. As some of you will know I recently received a music award and used my speech to adress this problem which Gaffa has now talked to me about. In Denmark we have national radio and television outlets which are financed through taxes de facto meaning every Danish citizen is forced to pay. Since this is the situation I am arguing it is highly unfair that these outlets continue to mostly present a select few, typically commercially strong mainstream acts while largely ignoring everything else. As it is my tax money - and the tax money of so many other musicians in Denmark - is used to finance over-representation of a few and commercially strong names in a system which can best be described as reverse Robin Hood. It is my hope that other musicians and media will speak out against this - also some of the commercially strong players and artists: if you want change it might mean you have to lose privileges, and sometimes that is the right thing to do. Adam Bouttai of Gaffa covered Den Fynske Musikpris Award Show, including our concert which is described as a 'frontal kick of uncompromising Tron vision' and of the award the conclusion reads 'no one on Funen is more deserving of this award than Ras Bolding.' I will be receiving Den Fynske Musikpris, Funen Music Award, at venue Posten in Odense, January 24, where I will also do a concert, flanked on stage by Alex Anarki on synth and Kaos Korrosion on extra vocals and synth. I am given the award 'both as musician, organiser and an enthusiastic part of music culture, adding nerve and vision to Odense.' To the best of my knowledge vast expanses of land and a nice countryside castle are not included with the award. Thanks anyway.
